With Evansville fighting for an at-large spot in the NCAA Tournament, guard D.J. Balentine kept the Aces alive Thursday at Southern Illinois with a 3-pointer with 1.5 seconds left to force a 71-71 tie.
Evansville and Southern Illinois are currently in overtime.
Update: The Aces pulled out the road win in overtime, 85-78, improving to 18-4 overall and 7-2 in the MVC.
