WATCH: Chicago State loses heartbreaker on half court buzzer-beater

Chicago State was poised for its first WAC win, leading 56-53 in the final minute. Then Seattle guard Brendan Westendorf made two 3-pointers, including this running shot at the buzzer from just in front of half court, to send the Cougars packing with their 12th straight loss.

Chicago State is now 4-21 overall this season with an 0-8 WAC record. The team’s only win against a Division I opponent came Dec. 19 against Western Illinois.
