UIC lands JUCO transfer Najeal Young

UIC filled its final 2015-16 roster spot Sunday with junior college transfer Najeal Young committing to the Flames, per JucoRecruiting.com. Young, a 6-foot-5 guard/forward, averaged 14.1 points on 55.8 percent shooting along with 8.5 rebounds per game at Lincoln College last season.

He will have two years of eligibility.

Young rounds out coach Steve McClain‘s first recruiting class at UIC. The junior college product joins a group of five freshman, headlined by forward Hassan Thomas from Texas and former St. Rita standout Dominique Matthews.
