After beating Elon by 13 points and Connecticut by 10, Duke has beaten every opponent it has faced by double digits. The Blue Devils have this week off and host Toledo and Wofford next week.
3. Arizona (12-0). Last week: 3
Arizona survived a tough road game at UTEP to improve to 12-0. The Wildcats wrap up a two-game road trip Tuesday at UNLV.
4. Wisconsin (10-1). Last week: 4
Wisconsin returns from a nine-day break Monday at California.
5. Villanova (11-0). Last week: 5
Villanova erased a 15-point Syracuse lead Saturday to beat the Orange by five in overtime. The Wildcats host NJIT in their only game this week.

Louisville held off Western Kentucky Saturday despite Montrezl Harrell getting ejected for throwing a punch. Even if Harrell gets suspended for Tuesday’s game against Cal State Northridge, he will be back for Saturday’s game against Kentucky.
7. Virginia (11-0). Last week: 7
Virginia dominated Ivy League favorite Harvard Sunday for its fifth straight win by double figures. The Cavaliers finish non-conference play Tuesday against Davidson.
8. Gonzaga (11-1). Last week: 8
Gonzaga improved to 4-0 in neutral-site games Saturday with a win against Cal Poly. The Bulldogs open WCC play with a three-game road trip, starting Saturday at BYU.
9. Texas (10-1). Last week: 9
Texas knocked off a talented Long Beach State team Saturday to remain unbeaten at home. The Longhorns continue a five-game home stand Tuesday against Stanford.
10. Wichita State (8-1). Last week: 10
Wichita State used a 13-1 run in the final five minutes of its game against Alabama to beat the Crimson Tide by one point. The Shockers are the favorite at this week’s Diamond Head Classic.
11. Kansas (9-1). Last week: 11
Kansas had no trouble getting its eighth straight win Saturday against Lafayette. The Jayhawks now travel to Temple for Monday night game.
12. Washington (10-0). Last week: 15
Washington remained perfect with a 69-67 win against Oklahoma. The Huskies host Tulane and Stony Brook this week.
13. Iowa State (9-1). Last week: 13
Iowa State blew past a Drake team projected to finish last in the MVC. The Cyclones complete their non-conference slate Dec. 31 against Mississippi Valley State.
14. Utah (8-2). Last week: 16
Utah bounced back from a close loss to Kansas with a win against UNLV. The Utes host 9-3 South Dakota State this week.
15. St. John’s (9-1). Last week: 18
St. John’s came back Friday to beat Saint Mary’s by six points. The Johnnies host another solid mid-major, Long Beach State, Monday.
16. Maryland (11-1). Last week: 21
Maryland went on the road and got a nice win at Oklahoma State. The Terrapins return home Saturday to face Oakland in their non-conference finale.
17. Notre Dame (11-1, 1-0 ACC). Last week: 22
Notre Dame dominated Purdue at the Crossroads Classic, 94-63. The Fighting Irish finish non-conference play with home games against Northern Illinois and Hartford.
18. Oklahoma (7-3). Last week: 14
Oklahoma’s three-game winning streak ended with a two-point loss to Washington. The Sooners return home for Weber State this week.
19. Ohio State (9-2). Last week: 12
In its second game against a ranked opponent, Ohio State lost again. This time, the Buckeyes lost by eight points to UNC on a neutral site in Chicago.
20. Colorado State (11-0). Last week: 19
Colorado State posted 1.55 points per possession in an 85-84 win against Denver. The Rams are still lacking a marquee win, but they have a few solid ones — Colorado, UTEP and Georgia State.
21. West Virginia (10-1). Last week: Unranked
West Virginia knocked off NC State at Madison Square Garden for its third straight win, all away from home. The Mountaineers return home for the first time since Dec. 4, playing Monday against Wofford.
22. Northern Iowa (10-1). Last week: 25
Northern Iowa further proved its case for an at-large bid Saturday with a 56-44 win against Iowa. The Panthers finish non-conference play Sunday against South Dakota State.
23. North Carolina (8-3). Last week: Unranked
North Carolina is back in the Top 25 after beating Ohio State at the CBS Sports Classic. The Tar Heels look for their third straight win Saturday against UAB.
24. San Diego State (8-3). Last week: 17
San Diego State is 3-3 in its last six games, but the Aztecs should get a pair of wins this week against UC Riverside and San Diego Christian.
25. Minnesota (9-2). Last week: Unranked
Since losing to St. John’s at Madison Square Garden, Minnesota has won six straight games. The Golden Gophers finish non-conference play this week with home games against Furman and UNC-Wilmington.
