Raymond Doby receives release from DePaul

High school senior Raymond Doby has received his release from DePaul, the program announced Friday. Doby signed with the Blue Demons during the November early signing period under former coach Oliver Purnell, who was fired last month.

The 6-foot-7 forward is a three-star recruit according to 247 Sports, ranked just outside the top 200 nationally.

DePaul’s incoming class now consists of forwards Oumar Barry and Deville Phillips along with 6-foot-6 wing Eli Cain. Coach Dave Leitao has three open scholarships remaining with veteran guard Durrell McDonald transferring.
