Big East veteran Patrick Sellers has joined the coaching staff at DePaul as an assistant coach, the school announced Monday. Sellers spent the last two seasons at Creighton and also coached at Connecticut under Hall of Famer Jim Cahoun from 2004 to 2010.

“Coach Sellers is a great addition to our coaching staff here at DePaul,” said head coach Dave Leitao, who was hired in March. “His experience not only at Creighton the last two years but throughout his career shows that he coaches and recruits across the country at a high level.”

Sellers joins longtime DePaul assistant Billy Garrett and recently hired associate head coach Rick Carter on Leitao’s staff.
