Northwestern’s Drew Crawford to participate in Portsmouth Invitational Tournament

Northwestern senior forward Drew Crawford will participate in the annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in Virginia this week.

Crawford led the Wildcats in scoring and rebounding last season with 15.7 points and 6.4 boards per contest. He also averaged 2.2 assists. Crawford allow earned All-Big Ten Third Team honors for the second time in his career.

The PIT showcases 64 college seniors across the country looking to make a late impression on NBA scouts over four days of basketball. The PIT has been around since 1953, and some notable alumni include Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, John Stockton and Scottie Pippen.

Crawford will play for the Norfolk Sports Club team alongside Penn State guard Tim Frazier to represent the Big Ten.
