New Mexico State opened up on fire, gaining a 23-2 lead after a little more than eight minutes.

Chicago State fought within 12 points late in the first half but never really could recover from the opening minutes.

Senior forward Renaldo Dixon led New Mexico State with 20 points and nine rebounds off the bench. The Toronto native is now averaging 14 points and 7.3 rebounds over the last three games.

Junior guard DK Eldridge posted 17 points and seven rebounds while junior guard Daniel Mullings recorded 15 points.
