Loyola moves to 2-0 with easy victory against Eureka

Loyola (2-0) took down D-III Eureka with ease Saturday for an 84-51 victory. The Ramblers led by as many as 44 points in the second half.

This is the first time since the 1963-64 season that Loyola has started 2-0 in back-to-back years.

Junior guard Milton Doyle led the Ramblers with 18 points while senior guard Devon Turk added 16 points.

Sophomore forward Cal Kennedy, a walk-on, was the third Loyola player in double figures with 10 points, all in the second half.

Loyola hits the road Wednesday for the first time this season, traveling to New Mexico as part of the MVC/MWC Challenge.
