IPFW to face Akron in CIT

In its best season under third-year head coach Tony Jasick, IPFW will appear in the postseason. The Mastodons earned a bid to the Collegeinsider.com Tournament, where they will host the Akron Zips on Wednesday.

IPFW won a program-record 24 games this season and finished second in the Summit League. The Mastodons advanced to the Summit League Tournament championship game but lost to North Dakota State, 70-67.

With 24 wins, IPFW leads the CIT field.
