Garrett, Ryckbosch out for DePaul with injuries

DePaul point guard Billy Garrett Jr. and power forward Peter Ryckbosch will miss Saturday’s game against Marquette with injuries.

Garrett hurt his lower leg in Wednesday’s loss to St. John’s. Ryckbosch injured his knee in the same game. Both are listed as day-to-day.

Garrett, a 6-foot-6 junior, is averaging 13.0 points and 3.6 assists per game. He had played in and started in all 25 of DePaul’s games entering Saturday.

Ryckbosch is only averaging 9.7 minutes per game this season but has seen an increase in playing time during the second half of the Big East slate. He has started seven games this season.
