Jordan, a 6’4″ shooting guard, received scholarship offers from fellow Big Ten schools Wisconsin, Indiana, Purdue, and Northwestern, in addition to other big-time programs like Creighton, Xavier, and Georgia Tech. Local mid-majors Chicago State, UIC, Illinois State, and Valparaiso also made offers.

Jordan is ranked a four-star recruit by both Rivals and Scout, and he joins top-100 recruit D.J. Williams in Illinois’ Class of 2015. Williams, also a four-star recruit, is a 6’7″ small forward from Simeon Career Academy, which also produced Duke freshman phenom Jabari Parker.
Jordan is an excellent perimeter player who could become a go-to scorer after current Illini junior Rayvonte Rice graduates after the 2014-15 season.
