Former Milwaukee big man Demetrius Harris is making his mark at the professional level, but not in basketball. The ex-Panther is making it in the NFL as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Harris officially made the Chiefs’ 53-man roster over the weekend. Last season, he was a member of the team’s practice squad.
The Arkansas native was a strong presence in the Panthers’ front court as a basketball player. He averaged 9.1 points and 5.3 rebounds during the 2012-13 season.
