DePaul drops to 0-4 in Big East with loss to Georgetown

DePaul competed well once more in a Big East matchup, but the Blue Demons’ goose egg remains in the win column. After DePaul led 30-28 at halftime Saturday, Georgetown pulled away in the final six minutes minutes for a 74-63 victory.

Senior guard D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera led Georgetown (10-6, 3-1 Big East) with 17 points and eight assists. Sophomore guard L.J. Peak came off the bench for 17 points as well.

DePaul (6-10, 0-4) was paced by junior point guard Billy Garrett Jr., who had 16 points and four assists.
