Dave Leitao’s son arrested for allegedly selling Xanax

The son of DePaul coach Dave Leitao was arrested Tuesday in Oklahoma for allegedly selling Xanax, according to a Tulsa World report.

Reese Leitao, a senior and three-star football recruit at Jenks High School, is being accused of possession and delivery of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a school.

He reportedly had 20 Xanax pills and more than $1,300 dollars on him, and admitted to a school administrator that he was selling the pills.

Reese was booked in Tulsa County Jail with his bond set at $15,000.

Reese is committed to play football at Texas, and Longhorns coach Tom Herman released a statement Tuesday that the program is “collecting information, will talk to Reese and his family, let the legal system run its course and then address it further at the appropriate time.”
