Creighton coach Greg McDermott has picked up an impact transfer for the second straight offseason.

The newest addition to the Bluejays is former Kansas State guard Marcus Foster, who announced his commitment to Creighton Sunday afternoon on Twitter. The 6-foot-2 guard will have two years of eligibility starting in the 2016-17 season.

Foster was a highly praised freshman two seasons ago, averaging 15.5 points and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 39.5 percent from beyond the arc.

Foster was dismissed from the program last month by coach Bruce Weber and was one of the most coveted transfers on the market.

Last offseason, Creighton landed Boston University transfer Mo Watson Jr. and Nevada transfer Cole Huff, both of whom should be key parts of the 2015-16 team.
