Eli Cain, DePaul

Honorable mentions: Dikembe Dixson, UIC; Aaron Falzon, Northwestern

The Wildcats annihilated Rutgers, 98-59, after losing a competitive game against Michigan. After a pair of 6-12 seasons, Northwestern needs just one win in the final week for its most Big Ten wins in a season under third-year coach Chris Collins.

Game of the Week

Drake 69, Loyola 59 (OT)

With MVC Tournament seeding on the line, Loyola needed a victory. The Ramblers led 48-45 in the final minute, but Reed Timmer’s 3-pointer in the closing seconds forced overtime. Drake came out on a tear and dominated overtime, sending Loyola into the MVC Tournament on a losing note.
