Every week The Catch and Shoot will name a Player of the Week, Freshman of the Week, Team of the Week and Game of the Week from the five Division I schools in the Chicago area.
Here are the winners for the 14th week of the season (Feb. 15-Feb. 21):

Player of the Week
Dikembe Dixson, UIC
Dixson averaged an astonishing 30 points per game even though lost all three outings. The 6-foot-7 forward also broke the Horizon League freshman scoring record with 525 total points this season.
Honorable mentions: Tre Demps, Northwestern; Montel James, Loyola
Freshman of the Week
Dikembe Dixson, UIC
Honorable mentions: Eli Cain, DePaul; Fred Sims Jr., Chicago State; Anthony Eaves, Chicago State
Team of the Week
Loyola
The Ramblers are back in the hunt for sixth place in the MVC after knocking off Northern Iowa and Missouri State. They have won four of their last five games and are 7-4 since coach Porter Moser shook up the starting lineup in mid-January.
Game of the Week
Youngstown State 92, UIC 91 (2OT)
This back-and-forth thriller featured nearly 30 minutes of high-leverage possessions and only one low-leverage possession.
UIC blew a nine-point lead in the final nine minutes of regulation and then needed sophomore guard Lance Whitaker to make a free throw at the end of the first overtime to force another extra period.
The Flames built a 91-85 lead with 1:23 remaining in double overtime but went scoreless the rest of the way. Matt Donlan’s tip-in with two seconds left gave Youngstown State the victory.
