Drake asked out ESPN sideline reporter Doris Burke during a Toronto Raptors game last week, and even though Burke sent her acceptance on Twitter, Northwestern guard Bryant McIntosh swooped in for his “first date” with Burke on Monday afternoon, beating out the Grammy-winning rapper.
The Wildcats are in Brooklyn this week for the Legends Classic at Barclays Center, where they face No. 22 Texas on Monday and either Notre Dame or Colorado on Tuesday.
Coach Chris Collins had the team arrive early on Saturday to get acclimated and have a chance to do some sightseeing. McIntosh used the time to visit historic Rucker Park in Harlem.

On top of that, it was McIntosh’s 22d birthday on Sunday. All in all, we can say it’s been a pretty enjoyable last few days for the all-time great Northwestern point guard.
