With a pair of double-doubles in three games last week, Youngstown State junior forward Bobby Hain took home Horizon League Player of the Week honors Monday.

Hain averaged 18.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game last week as Youngstown State went 3-0. In road wins against South Dakota and Robert Morris, the 6-foot-10 forward recorded double-doubles.

Oakland guard Nick Daniels was named Freshman of the Week. Daniels, who medically redshirted last season after breaking his foot, missed most of the preseason and the first five games of this season as well. But now he is starting to look like the impact player Oakland expects him to be.

In his first-ever start, Daniels scored 17 points and shot 5-for-5 from beyond the arc against Rochester (Mich.). He followed that performance with 10 points in an overtime win at Morehead State.
