As expected, former Villanova stars Ryan Arcidiacono and Daniel Ochefu were not selected in Thursday night’s NBA Draft. However, both have already found landing spots for the 2016 NBA Summer League.
Arcidiacono will sign a partially guaranteed deal with the San Antonio Spurs, according to Darren Wolfson. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 12.5 points and 4.2 assists last season, and assisted on Kris Jenkins’ game-winning, 3-point buzzer-beater in the national championship game.
Ochefu, a 6-foot-11 forward, will sign an unguaranteed deal with the Washington Wizards, according to Tim Bontemps of the Washington Post. Ochefu averaged 10 points and 7.5 rebounds last season.
