2. Wichita State (8-1). Last week: 2
Wichita State overcame an 11-point deficit in the final five minutes to beat Alabama last week. Now the Shockers head to the Diamond Head Classic, where they will be the favorite to win the tournament.
3. Northern Iowa (10-1). Last week: 3
Following a double overtime loss to VCU, Northern Iowa came back strong with a 12-point win against Iowa on a neutral site. The Panthers finish non-conference play Sunday against South Dakota State.
4. Harvard (7-2). Last week: 4
Harvard’s six-game winning streak ended Sunday, as the Crimson were completely overmatched by Virginia. The Crimson’s three-game road trip continues Sunday at Arizona State.
5. Old Dominion (9-1). Last week: 8
Old Dominion picked up another nice win last week, knocking off Georgia State. The Monarchs host William & Mary this week.
6. Georgia State (7-3). Last week: 5
Georgia State bounced back from an overtime loss at Old Dominion with a win against Southern Mississippi. This week the Panthers travel to Green Bay, which they beat at home a few weeks ago.
7. BYU (9-3). Last week: 7
BYU picked up a quality win Saturday against Stanford. The Cougars host Massachusetts in their final non-conference game Tuesday.
8. Wofford (9-2). Last week: 9
After defeating NC State, Wofford can get another huge win Monday at West Virginia.
9. Green Bay (9-2). Last week: 10
Green Bay beat Morehead State and Arkansas-Little Rock and now has a four-game winning streak. The Phoenix have a pair of tough matchups this week with UC Irvine and Georgia State.
10. Saint Mary’s (6-3). Last week: 6
Saint Mary’s had a rough week, losing close games to St. John’s and Northern Arizona.
11. Stephen F. Austin (9-3). Last week: 12
Stephen F. Austin has won eight games in a row, but only one win — at Memphis — has been noteworthy.
12. Louisiana Tech (8-3). Last week: 13
Louisiana Tech ended a two-game slide Thursday with an easy win against Nicholls State. The Bulldogs can get their first high-quality win Tuesday at NC State.

13. Evansville (9-2). Last week: 14
Evansville dominated the second half of a win against Alabama State to go 2-0 last week. The Aces continue a five-game home swing Sunday against Coppin State.
14. Florida Gulf Coast (9-2). Last week: 15
Florida Gulf Coast bounced back from a loss to Furman with a win against Florida International. The Eagles begin a three-game road trip Tuesday at Iona.
15. Yale (9-4). Last week: 11
Since upsetting Connecticut, Yale has struggled. The Bulldogs were blown out by Florida, then struggled to defeat Vermont and then lost at home to Albany.
16. UTEP (7-4). Last week: 17
UTEP nearly knocked off Arizona and then blew out Alcorn State last week. The Miners return to action Jan. 2.
17. Belmont (8-4). Last week: 16
Belmont ended a three-game losing streak Saturday with a win at Fairfield. The Bruins wrap up a difficult three-game road trip Sunday at Butler.
18. Northeastern (7-3). Last week: 19
Northeastern began a four-game road swing with a 78-72 victory at Santa Clara. The Huskies continue the trip Monday at Saint Mary’s.
19. Valparaiso (12-2). Last week: 20
Valparaiso has won four straight games with one non-conference game at James Madison remaining.
20. Eastern Michigan (9-2). Last week: 21
Eastern Michigan fell to Michigan State but rebounded with a win at Missouri State. The Eagles host Coppin State Tuesday in their first home game against a Division I opponent since Nov. 23.
21. Kent State (8-2). Last week: 24
Kent State survived North Dakota State by a point for its fourth straight win. The Golden Flashes have the week off and then head to Kansas Dec. 30.
22. Murray State (8-4). Last week: Unranked
After a slow start, Murray State has won six straight games. The Racers can improve to 4-0 against the MVC on Monday with a win at Southern Illinois.
23. Eastern Washington (8-4). Last week: 22
Eastern Washington has lost three straight games, but two have been to Pac-12 teams.
24. Incarnate Word (8-1). Last week: Unranked
Incarnate Word is 4-1 against Division I competition with a win at Nebraska. The Cardinals are in the middle of a seven-game road trip.
25. Army (8-2). Last week: Unranked
Army has won its last two games in overtime against USC and Maine.
