Loyola announces 2016-17 non-conference schedule

Loyola released its official non-conference schedule for the 2016-17 season Tuesday. The Ramblers open the season Nov. 11 at home against Alcorn State. The highlights of the fall are a trip to the Paradise Jam, which includes a road game at NC State, and a home matchup with San Diego State on Dec. 3 as part of the MVC/MWC Challenge.

Loyola finished 15-17 last season and returns three starters. The team went 4-0 during an overseas trip to Spain earlier this month.

Here is Loyola’s full non-conference schedule:

Nov. 11—Alcorn State

Nov. 13—IU Northwest

Nov. 14—Eureka

Nov. 18—vs. St. Joseph’s (at Paradise Jam)

Nov. 20—vs. Oral Roberts/Ole Miss (at Paradise Jam)

Nov. 21—vs. NC State/Montana/Creighton/Washington State (at Paradise Jam)

Nov. 26—at NC State

Nov. 30—Norfolk State

Dec. 3—San Diego State

Dec. 7—Wright State

Dec. 10—Milwaukee

Dec. 17—at UIC

Dec. 20—at Toledo
