DePaul added a second junior college transfer to its incoming recruiting class with Lincoln College point guard Aaron Simpson signing his letter of intent, the school announced Thursday.
Simpson, a Chicago native, averaged 20.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists at Lincoln College last season. As a senior in high school, he finished third in Illinois Mr. Basketball voting. He averaged 26.2 points as a senior at North Chicago High School.
Simpson joins Daytona State College transfer Rashaun Stimage as the Blue Demons’ newcomers for the 2014-15 season. Stimage, who signed his letter of intent in November, averaged 13.7 points and 6.7 rebounds at Daytona State. Illinois transfer Myke Henry will also be eligible after sitting out and redshirting last season.
