ROSEMONT, Ill. — DePaul sophomore forward Tommy Hamilton IV played through what coach Oliver Purnell called an ankle strain Sunday in the Blue Demons’ win against Stanford.

“I’m a little concerned about that, in terms of a one-day turnaround,” Purnell said.

The injury does not sound serious, but DePaul is back in action Tuesday against Northern Illinois. Hamilton does not have much time to recuperate if he is going to avoid missing a game for just the second time in his DePaul career.

Hamilton is averaging 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds so far this season.
